GoFundMe Forced To Return Donations to Canadian Truckers

After more than $10 million was raised on the fundraising platform for the protesting truckers in Ottawa, Canada, GoFundMe abruptly cut the fundraiser short and said it would distribute the money to related causes. After an uproar and threats of lawsuits over alleged fraud, the site agreed to instead refund the money to donors.
