Biden wants to confront radical Islamic terrorism by banning guns.
Joe Biden is calling for gun and magazine bans after the deadly mass shooting in Boulder, Colorado, which police say was committed by Ahmad Al Issa, a devout Muslim who reportedly swore allegiance to ISIS prior to launching his attack.
We now know that Al Issa is a Syrian migrant, a Muslim and a conspiracy theorist who believes “racist Islamophobic people” are hacking into his phone. He also believes the conspiracy that there was more than one shooter involved in the Christchurch Mosque Shooting. According to Syrian migration expert Laura Loomer, Al Issa also committed the attack in the name of ISIS.
Still, Biden says, that “We’re still waiting for more information about the shooter, his motive, the weapons he used, the gun, the magazines, the weapon, the modifications that apparently had taken place to those weapons involved here,” but, “I don’t need to wait another minute, let alone an hour, to take common sense steps that will save the lives in the future. I urge my colleagues in the House and Senate to act.”
“We can ban assault weapons and high capacity magazines in this country once again. I got that done when I was a Senator, it passed, it was the law for the longest time, and it brought down these mass killings.”
It was not the law for “the longest time,” and additionally, the 1994 ban on assault weapons only limited magazine size to 10 rounds. It was rescinded in 2004.
“We should do it again. If you close the loop holes,” Biden continued, “that’s one of the best tools we have right now to begin gun violence.”
“The United States Senate, I hope some are listening, should immediately pass the two House passed bills that close loop holes in the background check system,” he added. “We should also ban assault weapons in the process.”
The Biden regime is reportedly terrified that if it becomes popularly known that Al Issa is associated with ISIS, the administration will have a second immigration scandal, as one of Biden’s first moves in office was to remove President Trump’s ban on travel to the United States from countries known for exporting terrorism and radical Islam.
